The name is Emily, and she is a Chicago-based playwright who proudly hails from the riveting three-stoplight town of Wilburton, OK.
At the ripe age of seven, her neighbor told her that she loved to sit in her yard and listen to the manufactured conversations Emily had with her gnome. She has known ever since then that she was meant to be a storyteller. Her love of theatre began as a creative and mousy child who was often cast in roles such as “Raccoon #4” in Charlotte’s Web. She has an unabiding love of cheese, a complicated relationship with meditation, and she confronts her intense fear of escalators daily.
